Whipped honey also is called "creamed" or "spun" honey. It is unprocessed honey that's been whipped to a spreadable texture. (We call it Tennessee Snow — it rarely snows in ourneck of the woods, so we have to make our own!)
The color of the product changes a little, since it's whiter with a light honey, but the taste is always sweet and addictive. Use it on toast, biscuits or cinnamon rolls.
This product was No. 1 on the Editors' Top 10 list in Food & Wine magazine's August 2015 issue. Editor Julia Heffelfinger said, "This is so creamy, I'd spread it on a biscuit instead of butter." It is lovely on toast, bagels, pancakes, waffles, charcuterie boards and (our favorite!) peanut butter and honey sandwiches. We have FOUR options — the original Tennessee Snow, Lavender, Hot and Cinnamon (great for the holidays)!
Note: All four of our creamed honey varieties are made with raw honey. Original Snow has nothing added. In the the three flavored varieties the only additives are as follows:
Original Snow contains nothing but honey
Cinnamon Snow contains organic cinnamon
Lavender Snow contains lavender extract
Hot Honey Snow contains Habanero and cayenne pepper powder
